KOKOA KAMILI TANZANIA

The Origin
Located in Tanzania’s Kilombero Valley, Kokoa Kamili is a grower-centered social enterprise founded by development veterans Simran Bindra and Brian LoBue. By purchasing “wet” beans directly from over 1,500 smallholder farmers at premium prices, they eliminate labor-intensive post-harvest processing for locals while boosting community income. Their centralized fermentary applies meticulous control to transform regional harvests into highly sought-after Trinitario beans.
Our Partnership & Flavor Profile

Departing from deep South American fudgy profiles, these Tanzanian beans offer a vibrant sensory journey. Each bar reveals bright notes of red fruit, tart cherries, and creamy cashew, balanced by a soft, brownie-like finish—celebrating thriving communities and the potential of African agriculture.
